Last time out camping some other campers had a foldable canvas drinks cooler that you filled with ice. It was just like the folding chairs  and had a drainage tap on the bottom. Does anyone out there know where I could purchase one.

Rattyhorses had one of these at Cannich. I think it was from Argos but I'm not positive. The ice remained cool for a long time though.
