Really want a trailer for next year, i just had a thought that maybe you could rent one from somewhere, not sure where though.

Does anyone know if its possible or just wishful thinking on my part?

Try your local car spares/autofactors as some of them hire roof racks and trailers.

Thanks to everyone who replied, i'm going to start my hunt now so will let you know how i get on.

I just think it would be an ideal way to see if really needed a trailer before going to the expense of buying one, and also to work out what type would be most suitable.

Well ive been having a look and to me it seems quite expensive for two weeks, probably best to buy, plus can't find any where in our area

Dont know exactly where you are in Cambridge but FS Trailers in Huntingdon rent trailers and the last time I looked their prices for camping trailers (5x3) were very reasonable with the 2nd week half the cost of the 1st.

They also sell the Daxara range of trailers which if you still wished to buy a trailer I would highly recommend. I have the 157 with hard top.
