I have had my coleman comfort airbed for a couple of months now and although it has only been used a few times it has a leak somewhere and goes down very slowly. It is worth trying to fix it (they're not the cheapest of airbeds) and if so how can I find the leak? I'm disappointed as it so comfy and I can't understand why it is leaking as it hasn't had much use and has been well looked after.
Blow it up hard & in a quiet place try listening for the leak, as you get near to it you will hear it then feel it on your cheek. Did this with ours after trying water, a pin hole near the valve, an accident not a fault, fixed it & no problems.
I have an Aerobed which has been brilliant and they have a 2 year guarantee - there is a review on the site and someone on another thread said there was a discount - not sure if that has finished
We bought some stuff called Air Stop which you paint over the hole. It seems to have worked a treat, we lent it to some fellow campers and they mended theirs too.
