yep worth the money as you don't have to wait for a cuppa!!! also spits out filtered cold water!!Gets very hot, havn't got a thermometer here tho!! lol

We're trying to persuade mother-in-law to have one, she stuggles to carry cups of tea (even with her wheely trolley) and we thought she could have this on her living room table and then she only has to carry cold water.

it would be wise to see if the elements are available as spares far too many electrical items are made not to be fixed today and at £60 a item if it lasted 13months it would be lucky and at a fiver a month plus filter carts i would prefer a £5 kettle (our waters filtered anyway)and chuck it away after a year and buy a new one

prefer the superkettle which is a max load of 3amp but insulated so the hot water is ready on demand! much better

i think it only heats to 85 degrees, there was a thread in outdoor life last week about tthem. plus you dont have to have the filters, you can have it un filtered

we have a kettle that has an option to heat to 85 which i got to avoid scalding hot black coffee. However we don't like the taste and boil the kettle anyway 
it would seem that the http://www.quickcup.co.uk/ doesn't actually chill the water so if you want cold filtered water you are better off with a jug in the fridge.
