I recently enquired about buying a groundsheet protector and was told that a breathable one is best because not all campsites allow non breathable types as the grass can suffer.
My tent has a SIG and I would only want the protector groundsheet to cover the footprint of the tent. Surely then it is no differnt from the SIG and I assume it would be allowed at any site.
Is this correct.
