i have had 3g mobil internet for a month now £15 a month inc vat 3gig download limit 3.6meg download speed.
i sea fish all over the south coast and take my laptop with me and it works perfect.
it works that well that i have got rid of my bt line at home which was costing me £500 a year as opposed to £180 a year with 3g and the modem was free.
and i can use it anywhere subject to coverage.
a bit of kit i would reccomend.
a few things i had to do like set up new email addys with hot mail and change my ebay/paypal email addys but so far im well pleased with it.
i see vodaphone are doing somthing much the same but charging £25+vat for the same deal as i got with 3.

Its sounds very good, I used one in the States recently , as I couldn't connect to any wifi services.

But beware If you try using UK ones abroad they start charging by the MB which works out very expensive.

wifi aint no good to me as i dont do sites.
i only wild camp.
also tried wifi/hotspots and aint found one that worked very well?
used it on the beach at pevencey eastborne and it worked 100%.
if you get 4/5 computers on a wifi it narrows the band so much its like dial up?
wont be useing abroad if i go on holiday abroad the last thing i want or need with me is a computer?but it is 10p a meg.

3GB of data lets you: Send 2000 plain text emails AND surf the web for 100hrs AND download 100 two minute videos AND download 200 music tracks.
