We want to buy two of these so we can zip them together, the cheapest we've found so far (with them in stock) is £35 each plus £5 postage at Outdoor Action. Has anyone seen them in stock cheaper anywhere else, or any suggestions? We need a right and left hand zip?
No £35 is a very good price which you will find hard to beat, I would go with that, they are great bags, I have 2 Nitestars and 2 Astrals which the kids prefer. We use the Astrals to cover our airbeds when we camp after september. It provides another layer of insulation when the temp is a bit nippy.

Hi all,
I really like the look of these bags, we have been looking for some square footed bags for our mad plan to camp for bonfire night. I was wondering whether these bags are quite roomy. I currently have a double size one to myself (although I wouldnt call it a double unless it was for two catwalk models with no love handles), as a woman with a curvy figure shall we say are they bigger than the average single bag on the market?
Cliff n Pat,
Thanks, I promise not to tell anyone your little secret, it
is just between us. I think I might give these a go then, one further question, all the technical stuff on these state they are:
Comfort: 4°C to 20°C
Extreme: -10°C
Performance: 2-3 Season
We have been looking for a 4 season bag as I understood that is what we would need for camping in November. Does the blurb above mean that this bag is suitable for up to -10°C? if so then this bag is ample for any camping situation I am going to get into. The bag I was looking at I have attached a link for but as it is much more expensive I would prefer to save my pennies and buy the Vango.

Thanks in advance.
-10 is the extreme limit, the comfort tolerances are for normal use. Depending on the type of camping & how you carry your gear you can implement the bags with fleece liners, air beds, mats under the bag & the bed, duvet over the top & most important a good woolly hat. Remember in winter you wont be kipping in shorts & a T shirt.
The extreme is the temperature you can actually stay alive at (without getting hyperthermia). However, if you use a fleece liner it will probably take the comfort limit down to 0, and the extreme down to around -15.
Got two of these bags at Outdoorgear4you.co.uk - £35 each (plus £5 p & p) - excellent quick delivery & they are HUGE! Can't wait to use them this weekend!
