Hello. A little guidance if you don't mind. Just changed from MH to caravan, amazed at how expensive insurance is. I just didn't realise how attractive vans are to those who would like one but prefer not to pay. Whats the favourite method of immobilisation among you experienced vanners. Thanks in anticipation.
Obliged for the replies. Hitch lock & wheel clamp it is then. I can see that the assorted security hardware will no doubt be my most expensive accessory! Thanks again.
we have the BL9 and BL33 plus hitchlock, also because its at home.two large chains bolted to the wall thes passed through the backlegs, and a ground anchor at the front with large chain over the chassis and high quality lock.what ever the chain dont use cheap locks. the large one is too heavy to take so we carry the small one.
The supermule is a good lock. This bolts with security bolts to the chassis and you are then able to lower a lockable shaft that drives itself into the ground if the caravan is towed away.
I have one available, if interested drop me an email jd(at)applemead(dot)co(dot)uk and I can explain more.
