hi all,

we are going camping at the weekend and have bought a gas heater to try and keep warm, however now we have it, it says for outdoor use, does this mean we cannot use it in the tent.

any advice would be apreciated as i cannot see the point in using it outside.

Yes of course you can use them in a tent, no point having them otherwise. We have two which we use in the awning on chillier nights. Just make sure they can't get knocked over, although they might have a safety cut-out on them, ours have. The only thing we have found though is that the cylinders don't seem to last very long, especially if you have it on high, so you might need to get a good supply of cylinders in

the reason they say out door use only is quite simple its a saftey warning instructed by the ec so people dont use in a closed confined space ie in a lorry cab a caravan with all windows shut  ect that kind of enviroment in a tent is fine because tents are breathable and have  large areas but always have a bit of ventilation.

 all gas products burn and give of carbon monocide this applies to all gas burning products ie stoves heaters ect also never leave unattended or have on while asleep during the night best ways to use them is first thing in morning or late evening to take the chill off these heaters are very safe to use

we have sold 1000s with no problems
