Just take them to a Calor or Campingaz dealer and exchange them.

If you camp with a scooter, it might be worth changing one of them for a small 903 bottle, you don't have to change them for the same size.

i'm thinking of using the propane in the garage for a gas torch for heating casings to fit bearings etc and the butane for family car camping trips we're planning to start soon, summer only so butane will be plenty good enough.

for the scooter camping trips i use the little 250gram coleman screw on cannisters and a micro stove, space is tight!!

We were told that it is easy to change the gas bottles but when we stayed at a small cc&c site they wouldn't let us.  So try to swap it somewhere near home before going to a campsite.
