I am thinking about buying one of those air beds that are double height because i have joint probs and think it would be easier to get in and out of.

Can anyone tell me how "wobbly" they are? On our normal one if one of us turns over the other gets wobbled about, so im thinking if its higher do they wobble to the point that you could fall off?

Ive got images in my head of hubby being launched off the bed 

Any advice on wobblyness would be great !

No wobblyness at all they are fab we have one of these for camping and there is no roll together or one rolls off!!! Tis very comfortable!!!

you are best with an electric pump though

We have the double/kingsize version of the colman double height and it is very comfortable.  Very awkward to get into the tent pod though and we could only get in one side.  Still at least we got a decent nights sleep and didnt ache in the morning.  Still got it even though we have gone to a caravan as it makes a fantastic guest bed.

I would recommend the Coleman queen quickbed.

We recently bought one and it was like sleeping on a normal bed. Also nice and wide so no fighting for room!

I know they can be a problem getting into a tent, but we remedied that by extending the cable for our Coleman pump and inflating it in the tent pod. Alternatively obtain the rechargable version of the pump.

We cant wait to use ours next season. Although buying the big airbed did lead to us getting a bigger tent. (Coleman Canyon 8), well, you have got to spoil yourselves sometimes!

we got a bestaway double bed at a bargain price[so good we bought 2 !]like they have on price drop/bid up tv.It has a built-in pump if you are on ehu,or a normal port if you have big muscles to blow it up manually.once up it is quite sturdy but it takes up two rooms of our alaska 8.would recommend.
