The first time we put it up two poles broke, we had them replaced. Then small things kept falling off, the toggles that tie the inner tents broke the rings that hold the guide ropes broke, we only had it up for 9 days, so we returned it for a full refund. We have got another Vango.
Vango do one the same shape and size but the quality is much better with straps inside etc.
I don't mean to be disrespectful but that sounds to me like clumsy handling of the tent, having so many things break. I have had my Alaska for two years with no faults developing.
Is the better quality Vango tent a similar price to the Gelert?
