I've just purchased one out of Maplins, it says on the instruction when working the led will flash red but mines is flashing blue, does anyone know why?

First of all fatty there is no need for the sarcy comments.

 

If you read my original post you find that I know it works, you see I read the instructions, my question was RE: the colour of the LED when charging but i already had a sensible reply to my question.

 MY one flashes blue also but the instructions(ha ha) say red by the way the flashing led is to let you know that its working ie charging your battery.

 is it just me or are the smilies on strike????
