Just thought I would warn you all NOT to buy anything from autobox, based in ispwhich - as my mum and step-dad brought one for there motor home paid out £550 for one, they kept getting txt messages and faxes about them being delivered then nothing - they said they would get a refund in the end, this was in '06 - we are now in '08 and still no refund, I have phoned, they have faxed we cannot get anyone and no one will contact us back - we have been told they have lost the money now.

They have conned my poor parents of £550 - which I am sure you will agree is a lot of money - they brought it from one of the peterbrough fair I think it was - anyway I just thought I would warn all the users of this site so that the same thing will not happen to anyone else!!!

No my parents paid by debit card - and we have tried contacting consumer direct - they are not intrested, we have looked into the route of small claims court but they can't afford to do this, also they seem to have disappered - so how do we try sending the court summons?

We have tried so many routes, and no one seems intrested in helping - we have even tried the police!!!

What about trying Watchdog?

I will let you know what happens as soon as I get my hubby to fill it in,the thing is that my parents have it written down on a fax that they promised a refund as they are deaf so they sent a fax, we have proof against them!

Lets hope we can still get there money back after all, I hope so. xxxxx

I can remember them at the NEC last year demostrating these back box's.
might be worth checking the list of exhibitors at the Outdoor show at the NEC this month to see if they are listed.
