Hello,

I've been looking for a lightweight sleeping bag for using whilst on a two dayer around the Lakes in the coming 'warmer' months.  I have been pointed in the direction of the mountain hardware lamina 45, and for price, sixe and weight it seems a good one, however I have always found this site useful for advice from those that have used the goods.

Can anyone help me in this, or advise another.  I'm looking around the £60 - £70 mark.

I also had the idea of buying a liner in case the temps dropped.  Is that the right option.

I don't know if they are still avaible but I have a snug-Pac 1 season bag and paid £30.00 it

It packs down to the size of a large tin of soup

I don't know about the Mountain Hardwear one but going by the other stuff of theirs I have I'd say it will be up to the job and well made

It does look like a good light bag but expensive for the temperature rating I think.

The snugpak is slightly heavier but almost a "season" warmer.  I think the extra 200gms are well worth carrying.  You could also get a good liner with it for the same price as the lamina 45.  Tough enough for squadies too!
