Hi all,

We've been camping for many years and are thinking of getting a van.

I'd appreciate your advice on this one on ebay.

It looks pretty affordable and you do get lots of extras.  What do they pro's think?

Looks cheap................why?

Check its not damaged repaired and check out the dealer...he only has 3 feedbacks.

If the caravan is listed on e-bay by the dealer and is so good how come he cant shift it?

I reckon his feedback is low because he sells his vans on the classified section (which means you transact direct with the seller and not through ebay which means that no feedback is given/recieved).

He has a few nice looking vans at reasonable prices. But often vans are photogenic and the pictures make them look nicer than in the flesh. The feedback is from sellers not buyers. Maybe he's just starting up as a dealer but he's been a member of e-bay since Dec 06. He says the CRIS is in order.

The vans could be ones that have been part ex'd by big dealers who don't want vans over 10 years old on their forecourts so they've sold them on cheap, or they could be stolen recovered, or he may just have been buying privately at the end of the season, cleaned them up and now ready to sell on.

Wouldn't hurt to go and look at it, providing you don't live too far away, then you can get a feel of what he's about. Could be genuine.
