We didn't manage to put ours up over Easter - far too windy to even try! However, I think I'm going to invest in a large cheap nylon travel bag for the awning rather than attempting to get it back into its own bag. That way we don't need to unzip the panels every time.

Hope to try again this weekend!

Further to my earlier posts regarding this awning. We have managed to use it, all bank holiday weekend & i am now happy to say that its an excellent awning. Easy to put up & did not leak. After the suggestions of unzipping the panels we got it back in its little bag with easy.

Now a Happy Camper!

Hi all,    having read all threads regarding the quest lounge porch awning , mine was purchased before last summers trip down to devon , i noticed no one mentioned the problem we had with the awning..   the secondary beading which is on the inside of awning to attach the  fix-on brackets was actually on the "outside"  of the awning.    therefore ripping the material at both corners attached to the outer beading.    The dealer who sold us the awning exchanged &checked that the new one had the beading in the right place.

Hi,

We have the exact same problem, leading to serious loss of temper....grrr can't figure out what is wrong with it. Will be trying again soon but now considering alternative awning. If anyone has any idea how we might solve this issue, please to post a reply.

Cheers
