Thinking of getting a remoska for the campervan. Anyone here used them before ? heard a lot of good things about them but they do seem very pricey so want to be sure before I buy one.

There is a thread in Life in General singing their praises.   I'm trying to persuade my brother to buy one, and then I could borrow it for camping.

Fantastic item ~ wouldn't be without it now. I have the middle size one & it gets used at home as well as in our f/c.

We have the Bravoska - same sort of thing I think. Use it at home and when camping - great cooking from a compact size.

Hi..we bought the grand one. Its the biggest (we are a family of 6) and its the BEST THING EVER!!! (apart from the corkscrew!) We got it to keep in the van, but I use it all the time at home.  Infact, I have a cornbeef stew waiting in it to cook for tea tonight.

I cook anything and everything in it.  Bake cakes, roast chickens, pasta bakes, stew, even make pies in it-just chuck in your pie filling, roll out your pastry top lay it over the filling, brush the pastry with egg, put on the lid and about half an hour later...dinner!!

Get one..they are BRILL!

Yes can only echo others - get one.

I dithered about for ages before finally getting one last November, It's fantastic actually cooks stuff better than my oven!! I have the optional rack for mine too; using this I can cook the meat and roast the potatoes (par boiled) over the top. Or add a couple of chicken nuggets for the little one.

I'd also recommend Lakeland's Magic carpet, it's a re-useable non stick sheet that you can cut to size and line the bottom of the pan to protect it. Nothing sticks to it so it's really easy to wash, goes in the dishwasher at home too.

Yipee someone else who has the Bravoska.  The thing I like about the Bravoska is that you can put the whole thing in the dishwasher.  We brought our home at the end of our caravan season (October) and put it throught the dishwasher to give a good clean.  I do also have the Remoska that I now leave at home for use in the summer - potatoe wedges without having the big oven on, on a roasting hot day - brilliant.  Toad in the hole in both is great but you get more sausages in the Bravoska.  I only bought the Bravoska in August so did not get a lot of use last year but intend to give it a thorough try out this year.  I am not sure what size Remoska I have so perhap if I had the grand Remoska it would be the same size as the Bravoska that I bought.  I like both and use both - well worth the money.  Now do I still want a Cobb?!?*
