I read somewhere in an advice forum that instead of using the pink chemical in your van loo, just cut a toilet bloo block that you would use at home into 1/4's and pop one in instead.

They said its much cheaper and you get pretty much the same effect.

Anyone do this, does it cause any problems, or is it a pretty good idea.

I would think the chemical composition of a Bloo would be too severe as I think it contains bleach in both the flush tank and the waste tank.  We use the Elsan Blue and Pink and its much better and cheaper than Aquachem.
