We need folding chairs for bigger bums something to be safe upto 20 stones. Is there any such chair out there or are we doomed to buying chairs for normal bums only to find ourselves either wedged in for a week or laying legs akimbo on the grass as yet another chair decides it's had enough

Have you considered buying some fishing chairs? They are renowned for their robust construction and comfort. Look here for an example.

have you tried Asda?? they do a really good chair called ' a big/fat boy folding chair it holds my weight with no problems and the sit bit is really big to you can fit to people on it at a push think they are around the £13 pound mark but worth it,i got two last year!

Have a look at these I'm 6 ft 2 and 18 stone (ish) never looked back since buying one. Cant find them online to buy tho sorry

There was a thread about those only the other week, I think the maximum weight is only equivalent to about 13st, so no way would fit two adults of any weight. I'm sure someone somewhere will confirm this.

We have 2 of these they are wider & the back rest leans back so you are not bolt upright, comfiest folding chair we have ever had.
The same chair is also sold under the Gelert, Hi Gear & another I cant remember at the moment ( senior moment )but they are all the same.
Camperlands are doing them for £25 each at the moment but worth having a look around.
Must admit, they dont fold down to the smallest size but we think they are worth the space for the comfort & lay flat you can fill the gaps with other gear.
