We have just bought 2 of these sleeping bags in a left and a right hand zip, we thought we had found the ideal bags as we thought they could be zipped togehter duvet style (if you remove the hoods) and zipped togther down the middle mummy style if the hoods needed or used as individual bags.

The problem is I have got them home and have tried all ways to get them to zip together and they just don;t match up. If i open them out and put one on top of the other (the way i would prefere to zip them together) The zips match up but when it comes to the corners the two bags don't match up.

has any one got these bags and how do you zip them together?

Perhaps we made a mistake and should have bought two right hand zips rather than opposites?

The other thing i have noticed is that one bag is slightly different to the other making me suspect that we have been sold a 2007 version and a 2008 version, which would explain it.

Any suggestions anyone before I drive the 30 miles back to Yeomans to demand a replacement.....

Hi peety

We've just bought two Camper Lux bags but my OH won't allow me to join them together. She says I move around to much and keep her awake! Something to do with sleep walking I think.

When we bought them (Yeomans) though we were told that they could be joined together. There was no mention of opposite handed zips though. I would ring the shop and ask them.

Good luck.

Hi Peety

Its Jeff the guy from Yeomans who dealt with you today about your Outwell Camper Lux Sleeping Bags.Have spoken to someone about this matter and you have to remove the hoods on these bags when zipping them together - this forms the rectangular double bag as we found today but it cannot be done with the hoods still on. Still need to speak to Outwell though as to why 2007 & 2008 bags are slightly different sizes. Wish all customers were as pleasant as you to deal with when returning things.

Hope to see you again soon.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for investigating the situation, and for your help today, what fun was has by all as we tried to make the impossible possible,

The bags would not have been much use in the winter without the ability to use them with the hoods and snuggle up to OH, who is the better than a hot water bottle when it's cold .

Back to the drawing board on looking for the perfect bags but all is not lost as I am really happy with my bargin new super warm jacket that i bought instead .

As always top customer service from Yeomans.
