Has anyone tried using these new biodegradable potato pegs on a family size tent??

People going to Glastonbury are being asked to use them,but most will be using a small tent.. Mandy

id love to know what there like too,did you see that pile of tent pegs the farmer collected from his field!! hugeeeeeee pile!  i typed in potato peg on image search and came up with this

145 a load of mr potato heads holding your tent up maybe??

i want to go to Glastonbury!!

I think these are great for festivals, but probably wouldn't be strong or long enough lasting for use at other times. Personally I count my pegs back in at the end of a trip, but dare I say that might be a sign that I'm a teacher.

I know I wouldn't like to have thousands of tent pegs destroying my farm equipment as farmers have...

hmmm isn't metal bio degradeable as is plastic left in the sun.
the only non bio degradable substance i can think of is gold ,so to be planet freindly i will not use gold tent pegs ,this "bio" lark is laughable ,what next sprout stick tent poles
