Everybody and his brother seems to be selling these little stoves and they seem to vary in price by a considerable amount. Do they vary in quality or are they all made by the same company and then different labels get slapped on them?

Argos are selling Gelert suitcase stoves for under £9 at the moment so if you have a large Asda near you it might be worth a visit.

Never thought about the safety aspect price is not always the most important thing sometimes especially with two boisterous young lads running about ! Will definitely invest in one of these.Greggo

There have been the odd posts on here where people have reported problems with some of the cheaper copycat single burner suitcase stoves. No idea whether its a wide spread problem or not. MT

I have one of the original Campingaz Bistro stoves fitted with a flame failure device, I don't think the cheaper ones have this safety feature. 

Since buying it, about six or seven years ago, I have not used my double burner stove.
