a friend of ours had one last summer and we used it constantly, it was great and held its heat for ages. once we had cooked we folded it up and used it as a heater in an awning it was brill. would thoroughly recommend them especially with their size too
I bought one of ebay last year but am still to use it. As everyone states looks a good bit of kit. 3 on ebay at the moment two with postage are over £50 but one has just over a day to go and is £21 plus £10 postage at the moment
Received mine today (ebay £40)
Put it together in 5 mins
Had it lit with a few bits of kindling in 2 mins
was cooking pork chops on it 20 minutes later (could have been sooner but they reccomend 1st use leave it to burn off for longer)
It is the easiest thing to light I have ever seen and did its job perfectly
I cannot imagine anyone who goes camping not wanting one of these
Oh and Deb says its very cute !

Did you pack it away lit when you finished cooking or did you let it go out or perhaps you are still cooking on it!? I just wondered how easy it is to pack away. I have manged to show great restraint till now regarding the purchase of one but I am quickly weakening. I really want this and/or a Yakatori table bbq but common sense (and wallet) keeps telling me to stick with the cheapy bbq from Wilkinsons - damn that common sense
Used mine this weekend, Top kit is the verdict from me!
Lit using a screwed up piece of paper and was cooking inside 10 minutes. When finished I folded it up and let it burn hot which burned the grease off and all the charcoal was powder in the bottom tray in 20 minutes, then placed it in the pouch.

hannah
Just got one of these and used it twice yesterday
Late last night I decided to put it in the conservatory folded up
Off I went to bed and 10 mins later was woken by the carbon monoxide alarm going in my house !
What i forgot was charcoal releases this when burning so to put it inside a tent or awning could be potentially dangerous !
I've been looking into this as well. Fits the bill perfectly for me as I want it to act as a campfire type thing as well. Love the fact it self-cleans and can be used as a tent warmer in the bag. And I like the silly name....
Used it once so far. Works very well, but if you use it on grass the heat kills it. Now looking for a siutable stand/table etc. Easy to light, fair sized grills etc.
We love ours and one of the great things about the "snuff out pouch" is if you open it up and stand the BBQ on it whilst cooking it doesn't kill the grass
(In our experiance anyway)
