We love ours and one of the great things about the "snuff out pouch" is if you open it up and stand the BBQ on it whilst cooking it doesn't kill the grass
(In our experiance anyway)

Thanks for that = it never occured to me.

This might be a silly question but I am going to ask it anyway - if you light it in the upright position and the coals are at the bottom how do you get the coals to distribute across each grill when you open it up?

Yes it was a silly question I have just looked at the website and I can see that the coals stay in each side. Silly me.

Got one from Mode.co.uk £50 delivered. Used it 10 times now. When lighting, its best to give it about 15 mins rather than the "recommended" 7 mins. Also found it works better if you put quite a bit of charcoal in the centre when lighting(the instructions said about 4 pieces, we ended up filling it for best results). Was at Donington for the MotoGp this weekend and we took it to the track where quite a few people were asking about it.

When opening it up after intial lighting period the grill can be covered in light ash (lower quarter). Will be investing in a small wire brush to go in the side pocket of the snuff out pouch, this will sort  it out.

I use some newspaper and 3 lighting cubes in the middle and about 10-15minutes ready to cook, i do find you dont use too much charcoal.
