Like many others we're planning to drive to Southern France / Northern Spain and tent-camp this August. I'm assembling equipment now, but am unsure about fridges. I've just spoken to the guys at Camping Online and was told that 3-way are all basically the same, and no matter what it says, running on gas, it will only go 20degrees C below ambient.
2 Questions:
Has anyone used an Eskimo 3-way fridge? It looks the same as the Wako but is £20 cheaper here: http://www.camping-online.co.uk/12v,-COOLERS-FRIDGES/Eskimo-Icecold-42-Litre-3_Way-Absorbsion-Fridge.html
Also, has anyone got experience of just runing with a 21litre 12/240 box? The Waeoco one:Waeco Thermo electric tropicool TC-21fl coolbox 21 litre looks great, but is it big-enough for a family of six, or am I likely to be sorry not to have spent the money on a larger 3-way chest?
