went out and got a electric coolbox but is there a way to keep them going without a ehu with out spending the earth ?

the oh wants to keep her wine cold and the g+t has to very cold

I'm sure you all know this, but it might be worth repeating. Leaving a 12 volt cooler box, or fridge, plugged into a car’s lighter socket will quickly drain the battery.

If an afternoon doze takes away the attention and intention of pulling the plug before too much juice has been drained you can end up meeting some nice people.

In our case it was a couple from London who had the presence of mind to pack jump leads.

I, on the other hand, had left all presence of mind at home.

last time i tried running a coolbox off a 110 amp battery i got 2 days just

just get a genny
