When you say heavy duty, do you mean for a single or twin axle? If twin, there aren't really any great deals around that I know of, although you can save a bit by shopping around. We have recently ordred a Powrtouch twin axel ( the 2 motor version) Powrtouch themselves were quoting £1200 fitted and a 3 - 4 week wait as they are so busy, but my local bailey dealer recommended a mobile fitter to us and he is doing it for £1100, he is getting the mover from Powrtouch himself. And he's fitting it at the end of next week, which is 2 weeks from when I ordered it.

We bought an Purpleline Enduro (recommended by Wizard) it will move a van up to 1800kg.

It is the best piece of kit we ever bought. £588 from Alanscaravans (on Ebay) ordered Saturday delivered by courier Tuesday. Get the phone number off the sight call and pay over the phone. You'll get all the info off the site

My OH fitted it no prob took about 2.5 hrs. If your handy then it's an easy job if not then look at paying approx £120 for fitting (thats what we were quoted from our storage people as they do repairs, towball Etc.)

You won't regret it and remember if you change caravans then you simply transfer it.

Bum!! There I was just about to close the lappy for my early night coz I've got to take my daughter to the hospital at the crack of sparrows and then......I go and see this!!!

I've just done a post about our motor mover bargin on another thread under the caravan section.

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=8&TopicID=146631&showActive=4&ReturnPage=Active

In brief, (coz ya can read me other post on that doo dah and I have sooooo gotta get to bed), we got a reconditioned one for our heavy duty tin tent, (had to get the Mark 2 which moves up to a 1500kg tin tent with ease), from Powrtouch.

It cost around the £600 mark which was about half of the price of a brand new one AND it was fitted on our storage site by their mobile fitter as we needed it fitted ASAP and had it delivered to our house so just taken to the storage site where the chap popped along and within 3 hours it was all done and I could 'play' with it

It looks like new and does have a brand new remote with it plus a 3 year warranty as oppose to the 5 year one you get with the new ones, but as we only get to use our tin tent once a bl**dy year...don't askWe reckon ours should be fine for donkeys years

Hope you do manage to get one at a reasonable price. We l-u-r-v-e ours

And now I have just GOT to get to bed
