Hello Sanguine!

I wasn't aware of the Vango sleep mat but to be fair I think that there are hundreds of the little boogers out there and my only experience has been on the Airic (there were other's in bedsitters during the 1980's but I don't talk about those). I do wonder sometimes if all these things are made in some enormous Chinese sweatshop and then different names slapped on them? Maybe?

All that space Sadex and you are worried about a mat?

From looking at the pack size it should fit down in the footwell (if that's not already stuffed with other important items!)

Our kid have slim airics and they do roll down well and the realistic pack size they give is pretty accurate.

By the looks of it the wide airics would take up the space of a pillow rolled up lengthways.

I would say go for  it!
