We are both campers and caravanners and enjoy doing both.  However, the advise we need is on TV Areials, we want one that we can take both Camping and Caravanning, therefore needs to be portable.  Does anyone have any suggetions, we also don't want to pay an absolute fortune.

For a proper reception you need the same aerial the locals in the area you're camping in have on their houses.

TV signals aren't interested in your preference for portability..

A better alternative is to go for a satellite system.

Try this suggestion

From another thread.

This looks to be a very good supplier who know what they're doing.

Best Wishes,

Rob.

I have an Image 530/18 Directional Antenna and a mast that attaches to the A frame of the caravan. The mast also accepts guy ropes.

They were 18.99 each from a caravan shop. They are light and detachable.

If you don't want a mast outside the tent! you could try a boosted indoor antenna if you have power, but height is usually the key to a good signal (depending on location)
