the best one to use is fabsil if you need it. the way i do my vemont L is to erect it somwhere with plenty of room then get a mop bucket and a 5 litre tin of fabsil then use a mop to put it on taking care to fabsil the seams again.
I wouldnt think it needs proffing at all. but if you will feel assured then proof it.
