Hi, am looking to buy some new chairs for our summer break to Italy - are Lafuma chairs worth the extra money?

Morrissons have them in both black and what they call capaccino, a sort of wheat colour, a couple of quid dearer though. Still about a third of the price of lafumas

we have two lafuma recliners and i love them to bits LOL everytime we go away i end up falling asleep on them as they are so comfortable we have the padded ones. my mate has the mesh lafuma's and he finds them not as comfortable as our. i think the price is a bit offputting but once you have made the investment once then your sorted for a  long time our lafuma's also come with a five year gaurentee so thats a bonus as well

I don't know what it is, but Lafumas are more comfortable. The copies are nearly there, but just not quite as good.

We tried lots of different makes, but went for the Lafumas, they just felt better.

If you can, try them side by side with other brands, and you'll feel the difference.

We've had our lafumu padded chairs for years and they are just so comfortable. They have been well worth the money. They matched our old frame tent , but are green and our new trailer tent is blue. Would love some new ones to match, but there is so much wear left in our old chairs it seems silly. One downside of them being so good.

We have one Lafuma chair and two Dukdalfs.  The Lafuma is a basic mesh recliner and is very lightweight, easy to pack almost flat - but is not very comfortable because the seat base is so short.

The Dukdalfs are wonderful - but the curvy headrest means they take up more room when packed.

All of ours are several years old, but look exactly like they did when new.
