not too long - I would allow a few working days for them to do what ever it is they wish to do -contact manufacturer etc
they don't take long to decide to accept your order and take your money!

Just to follow-up on this thread we have just returned from a week's camp and had chance to put our Vango carpet to the test... and I must say we've been very impressed. Whilst it's only been a week this thread had me worried we'd start to see wear but it looks as good as new. We tended to keep our outdoor shoes off it (as we do at home) but it still saw plenty of foot traffic and movement of chairs etc all over it. I know this doesn't help those that have seen problems with theirs, but it's worth redressing the balance of experiences. Incidentally, for what it's worth (perhapd nothing), ours has a manufacturers' date of Oct '07 on it - I'm just wondering if there might be a quality control, or change of design/manufacturer issue?
Regarding the concept of carpets in general I must say I would highly recommend them to anyone that doesn't already have one - it made an incredible difference to the comfort of the tent through not only providing a soft floor but the insulation properties were significant - the temperature feel between it and the groundsheet alone was most apparent. The waterproof backing also held its own as a persistant storm cause some pitch drainage issues yet we remained completely dry above the carpet.
