We had one of these & we didn't like it at all. Any fluid left on the plate thing that pulls back drips along the handle & out onto the floor. Even if only a couple of drops at a time it is nasty.

We thought we had a faulty one but had a brand new one sent out as replacement & that did the same.

When I enquired why this should be I was told to put vaseline around the edges which I did but still the same result. Now both have been binned & I am getting a Kampa Khazi

Personally I would stick with a Thetford, have only ever heard negatives for the other brands such as Fiamma etc.

We have a Thetford which was given to us - brand new - when we got the caravan, and tbh I don't like it at all. It's a complete unit, is heavy to carry when it's been used, and because of the shape of it it's awkward to empty and clean out. In contrast we have a Fiamma in the tt, splits into two with a handle on each half. It's easy to carry, easy to empty and clean out, and easy to store. In fact I've just ordered another one to replace the Thetford in the van.

We bought a Fiamma Bipot and arr really pleased with it.  It's well built and easy to use.  It replaced our Thetford Porta Potti which started to leak from the seam on the waste tank.

Thanks everyone.Your feedback much appreciated.we seem to have used some from you all.
We DIDN'T buy a Euro Platinum
OUR Thetford had started leaking at the seams too
Liked the look of the Fiamma Bi-pot 1520 which has a 20 litre waste tank [upgraded for 2008 and now Model 39],bought one ,£48.59 from World of Camping. Good price
Thanks Again
