Firstly may I suggest insulation....

Put something under the airbeds and something on top of them.

On the floor you can use camping mats, picnic blankets, survival blankets, newspaper, cardboard etc

On top either opened up sleeping bags, a fleece, a blanket etc

There are some nice childrens sleeping bags around such as these or here .

If you are worried about the little ones falling out of bed then fill their bedroom with airbeds so the floor is cushioned.

Hopefully next time you will get a good nights sleep

Hi Suzanne,

Kids size ones will be warmer because there is less empty space in them, in the same way that mummy shaped bags are warmer.  Can you get to a Decathlon?  I think your nearest store would be Sheffield.  I'm really impressed with their range of sleeping bags, and the information they have on them.  My son is 12 and 5'3"; he has their S5 light in an adult Medium, its really warm, perfect size, and didn't break the bank. 

As well as some insulation for the beds, my kids have always had 'camping pyjamas' - cheap joggers and sweatshirt to you and me!  Plenty warm enough to run around the campsite in the morning as well.
