Saw them last week at our camping shop. My kids are too big now for them, but I don't think they would fit in many sleeping pods without the child in the top bunk banging their nose on the pod, or even worse, pushing it against the fly and causing a leak!
They can be used separately too, but didn't look that comfy.
I was wondering recently if such a thing existed! They are only 104 cms in height so the top child shouldn't be reaching the tent roof but I agree they don't look that comfy.
I saw these at abc caravan shop a while ago. I thought they were not very sturdy, and wouldn't risk my kids in them, they looked very easy to topple over.
Height wise they would be OK in a frame tent - but i do agree they do not look very stable!! knowing what my kids are like I could see them toppling over!!
The only other use is for extra off floor storage - but then there are cheaper options!!
I agree with the others , saw them at Gooutdoors and my first comment was they do not look very sturdy, imagine two children in them and they tip them over acting about like kids do, all sorts of damage and injuries could be had.
My daughter (9) tried it out in go outdoors - we would have no problem with the height in our bedroom pods.
Once she was on it she said it was really comfortable, and climbing up was ok (although it could do with some sort of intermediate step between the bunks), but getting off made it tip. Still, not like she would have fallen far LOL!. Biggest problem for us was pack size and weight, otherwise I think we would have considered them as it would then leave us more room for some clothes storage in the pod.
I'm taking my 5 year old camping for the first time and he wants these to go in his childs room but after reading these posts I may have to break the bad news to him that he can't have them.
