I agree with Sue, you get what you pay for. The only problem I had with a Coleman one was a one-off that leaked on first use around one of the oval 'dimples'.
If you're using any air-inflated mattress there are a few common sense rules to make them last longer:
- Don't over-inflate them as it strains the seams;
- don't walk on them as the 'point-pressure' can rupture seams;
- don't let the kids use them as trampolines;
- watch what you put them on to make sure there's nothing sharp;
- use a deflater (if at all possible) to take all of the air out and roll them up carefully before storage (avoid 'creasing' which can cause point-fractures on seams).
The Coleman ones do come with repair kits but, quite frankly, once they've split on a seam you've pretty much had it.
