Our hand book tells us to never use house hold cleaners in the caravan.
The Thetford cassette had book states never use household bleach of any kind it can damage the seals and other components
You should use Thetford toilet cleaner in the actual toilet this in turn goes into the cassette.
Heres one I didn't know . Thoroughly clean the seals and valve blade. Rub them with Olive Oil and wipe them over with a cloth or a piece of toilet paper. Repeat the above if the seal or blade get dirty or sticky on opening or closing
Note : Never use Vasoline or any vegtable oil except olive oil. Using any other type of oil may cause leakage.
