I was reading Auto Express a couple of weeks ago when they did a test on PowerPacks. These nifty pieces of kit are a jump charger and inverter. They also can come with a light and air compressor, No idea what the best one is for you use, but it may worth checking out the article. I am sure any of the companies featured will do just inverters as well.

Even a 150 watt lcd tv will take 12.5 amps  to run it at 12 volts and that doesn't take into account the inneficiency of the inverter,so you need a large battery, and even that wont last very long.

Inverters are inherently inefficient because you are starting off with 12V DC (Direct Current) and running an oscillator (a vibrator for electricity ) to enable a step-up transformer to output 240V AC (Alternating Current).

Now, I know you don't want to go and fork out money on a TV that will run on 12V when you have a perfectly serviceable mains one but... consider spending your cash on a TV plug-in for your laptop (if you have one) or even a really cheap TV that'll run off 12V direct; in the long run I can assure you that'll work out far better.
