Not everyone likes eating off plastic though.

Must admit I prefer SS but with 4 kids the plastic are more practical as they tend to throw them away with the rubbish!

They seem a bit heavier than some of the really cheap stuff.

For anybody new - don't go for expensive when camping, especially if you are going to use the sites washing up facilites.   No matter how carefully you check that you have left nothing behind when you leave the sink, you will once in a while find that a fork has disappeared.   This will be replaced a few trips later, by a tea spoon that was not there when you started washing up.   

i bought asda's 16 piece in a plastic tube thingy for about 2.50 and they are fine. and the tube is useful to keep them in for travelling too.
