Can anyone please recommend an outside tv aerial as we have struggled to get a signal the last few times from our caravan. I am not very technical so please treat gently.
We use the Maxview High Gain UHF it's code B2001, page 76 of Towsure cat. £ 28. It usually goes up due to the status being c**p unless you're in a strong signal area.
The problem with TV reception is the different types of transmitters which technically need a different type of aerial. People tend to buy a big digital aerial that is really not needed and will not do the job. Have a look here as they do a caravan/boat aerial which we use and find that in most instances it does the job when we are away in our tent. We even managed to get a digital signal when down in SW Cornwall. Its also a very informative site so you will get a better understanding of how these things work.

We used one of these as we have a tent.We used it at Kessingland C&C Club site where the reception is poor and got a decent picture. The man on the next pitch with his status caravan ariel could only get BBC2.
