I was at Lidls at 8am on Thursday to make sure I got one before work.

It's blinking fab, my proper oven at home has just packed in and we don't have the spare cash for a new one with installation at the moment.  So this one is doubling up for at home and for when we go camping.

The boys have had their normal "Friday rubbish" meal tonight of chips and pizza cooked to perfection and quicker than my oven was doing - althoug that may be because it was on it's way out.  Everything is cooked evenly.

Just been to Lidl at Durham and bought one, they only had two left when we got there. We have a Tefal mini grill/oven very similar but smaller, it was in our previous caravan when we bought it about 10 years ago, it`s still working but for how much longer? so bought a Lidl one to replace it, looks impressive.

I just bought one. It's bigger than I thought, so I will have to see if I actually have enough room in the car ....

EDIT just to add I just cooked a fish pie in it.

Did a very good job

I bought the Aldi camp cupboard a few weeks ago after someone mentioned it on here and now I've got the Lidl mini oven too!!!!!!!

Now I just need my 4 poster bed and my crystal chandelier and my tent will be the poshest on any site!!

I've done exactly the same as you HEJC72  -  brought the Aldi camping cupboard after reading reviews then Sunday got the lidl oven.  Think i'll have to stop reading reviews on here otherwise i'll need to buy a trailer to fit everything in

Update on the Lidl Mini Oven + Grill - F A B U L O U S  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After reading all the recommentations for this oven I just had to buy one - well, it did us proud and we cooked all sorts of things in it, including the most fab jacket spuds on sat eve, so many poeple walked past our tent and stopped to ask us what were were using (as they could smell them cooking) - they couldn't believe it only cost £19.99 - best 20 quid i've ever spent.....

Already have the Lidl oven for about 2 years or more. Great item ! Like a few people I should stop reading stuff like this as I too bought the Aldi cupboard (gonna use it first time this Friday ) and thanks to my next door neighbour I now have a trailer and can take more stuff !!! Well, more room in car and the kids won't be squashed in like last time

thanks to everyones advice i bought the oven and it is great.
three questions which i would appreciate help
1)having used it for 3 days camping the ceiling is all mankie. have tried cleaning it by warming first and using soapy water but found it very awkward and give up. any tips please or is it necessary to clean it 2) reading the operating instructions page 5 under grilling and baking it states for grilling you must always select 250c. why? 3) the recipes section does not mention meat, so when cooking chicken etc. what heats are best and do you need the fan on

I think that's the only one it works on it isn't adustable for the grill, but I have never had any problems just remember it takes the first 5-10mins. to warm up I put it on that first, it's never burnt anything nothing seems to go dry I have found it very useful, you don't need the fan for the grill

We used ours for the first time and it was fab. We had jacket potatoes in it, yummy. Worth every penny and every inch of boot space unlike some things we took with us lol! (The measuring jug and seive to name two tee hee he!!!!!!!)

If you have a problem stressing you, sort it. If you can't, there's no point worrying about it coz it won't make a blind bit of difference!!!! Jules
