hi all

 ive just put a tester on my caravan batterie and it reads 5.5 so does this mean its not a proper leisure bat or that its on its way out, or just needs charging

if its not up to the job does anyone know the best place (cheapest)) to get a new one

as you may guess im new to caravaning

try charging on a normal battery charger first ,then see if it holds its charge,but keep checking it so it does not get hot.

Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.

Voltage shown on voltmeter Guestimate of battery condition
12.7v or higher Fully charged
12.5v   Three quarters charged
12.4v  Half charged
12.2v  A quarter charged
12v or lower Empty 

As it says its a guesstimate but it does not look to good for your battery
