We had problems with our double height airbed, didn't last very long at all, in fact I ended up shrouded by it in the middle of the night What we do instead is put airbeds on top of campbeds, gives you the same height and also the additional bonus of storage space underneath. We choose the have single beds while we are away, find it's warmer in your own sleeping bag, but that's down to individual choice. I suppose you could put two campbeds together and a double airbed on top.
