This may be a stupid question, but can you use a normal extension lead for mains hook up to a tent if the items being used have a normal plug on the end? or do I need an adaptor? As you can tell, I have been a basic camper until now and I am upgrading!!!!!!!

With care - so long as you have first connected yourself up via a unit with safety trips.

The greatest risk with extension leads is losing touch with what someone else may be doing at the other end.

Most people are going to be safer with just the 3 sockets on the EHU.
