IMO,the Coleman Green ones (never let us down in three years,or if you want the best (quite expensive)are the Aero beds.We only switched to these from Coleman because of the size.Coleman singles 188cm x80cm,Aero bed active single 198cm x 100cm.We used to have a Coleman single(for me) and a double (for OH as he has arthritis and needs room to spread out)He found the double a bit too wide plus it took up quite a bit of room so the aero beds were an ideal solution.

Hi

Having just come back from 2 weeks on France on hard ground I can honestly say that our thermarest was fabulous.  I put a plastic backed picnic rug underneath for insulation - don't know if that helped?

We bought it about 10 years ago never used it and I almost sold it - so glad I didn't, it packs up easily and is great in a tent as it is not as high as an airbed so the tent seems bigger.

I'm heavy and like my comforts so I think most folk would find it comfortable. I'm now looking for an annexe for my awning as I found the thermarest more comfortable that the caravan beds lol!

We just got one of these in Luxembourg as our 2 joinable singles didnt feel comfortable and are very happy with it.

Often with doubles, it feels like I am sleeping on a hill as hubby is way heavier than me but not with this one.

As an afterthought... looking at the price... we may have been robbed as we paid €40 for ours but worth every penny

How wide is your sleeping bag ? If standard then go for something like the Coleman recommended above. However if you have an extra wide sleeping bag I would suggest the Gelert Full Single Airbed which has the same coil structure as the Coleman but is 96cm wide.

So where is te best place to get a Coleman comfort from? Anyone know the cheapest price with delivery? We are fed up of beds that go down and want something reliable. OH also likes the airbed really firm, whereas I prefer it with a little `give` so the Coleman sounds ideal to me.

I have one of these http://www.cybercheckout.co.uk/Items/300079703?&caSKU=300079703&caTitle=Intex%2066754%20Khaki%20Queen%20Airbed%20%202-in-1. Never let me down yet. Had it nearly 2 years. Has the added bonus if I get a puncture I still have another

Seriously I am impressed. I thought it was going to be some cheap cr*p that lasted 5 mins but its not. Very comfy and I love the extra height.
