we have an out door patio light from towsure for our tent. it has a hook on the top so that we can hang it up.

We've tried all sorts over the years but the best so far is one of those spaceship shaped ones with LEDs. Ours has about 60 LEDs but it seems just as bright with 20 on as it does on full power. Batteries last for ages and are dead cheap to buy. Plus there is no worry about heat. We paid about a fiver off eBay. They are brilliant.

 hi we use a coleman dual fuel lantern when we dont use ehu its brillant

UFO lights from Morrisons £3 - you can't beat them. If you put one behind a water container they light the whole thing up! We also have a lantern style solar lamp from Wilkinsons £5
