If you want a nice lantern then get yourself a duel fuel coleman northstar.
You will never look back, they are fully adjustable and go from dim to mega bright.
They hardly use any fuel and keep the tent warm and damp free.
They state not for in tents, but I use mine in the tent and my boat, just make sure you have plenty of ventilation for the burned fuel fumes to leave the tent, my tent has a large vent in the top and sides to there is plenty of fresh air available.
You may also notice that your tent is the brightest on the pitch as the lantern kicks out about 200 watts of light, I got mine for £60 new, but most are between £60 - £99
