The scout group that I'm associated with use nothing else at camp - they are reliable in operation and cheap(!) to run on standard unleaded petrol. I have a Coleman twin mantle dual fuel lantern - brighter than just about anything else on the market.

the stove is great, but the control for regulating the flame can be a bit tricky, bearing in mind that if you slip you could (and I have) burn your fingers on the hot parts.

Great stove and powerful!

better than lugging around a big gas canister me thinks but each to his own

yes there are great stoves even used mine to cook steaks on a griddle in the garden when theres just the two of us saves all the hassle of a bbq, secret is having a great griddle plate me thinks
