Hi all,
Apologies in advance for those that have gone through the 'which cool box' question but I have searched the forums and none quite answer my query in full....
We never use EHU and I am always scared that if we plugged a cool it box into the car, that we will run the battery flat (not really sure how they work) Also worried about those that run off gas ...so my question is.. does anyone recommend a medium size (20 - 25l) cool box that is :
a) Is totally safe to use (e.g wont, by some freak of nature explode!)
b) won't flatten a car battery ( I am not sure how they work to be honest, e.g do you plug in for an bit and then unplug from car once contents are cold?)
C) is under £50?
thanks in advance

Hi Wenpip.
I have got the Waeco CF-25, decided on that model for two reasons, first was that I found it very cheap on Preloved, brand new never been used, still in sealed box, second it is quite compact, I was looking at the Waeco CAB-40 but felt it was to cumbersome, as for the CF-25 I will be running it of the car or liesure battery, the fridge automaticly shuts down, to preven you getting a flat battery, which is a very handy feature, although you can get an add on device for any fridge that will prevent you getting a flatt battery, also the CF-25 works like a real fridge, unlike an absorbtion box type cooler, I am sure the work very well, the CF-25 is overkill on the chill realy, as you can set it to go as low as -18C not that I need it to go that low, +3C will be my requirement.
