Another vote for the igloo.  We found freezing 2 litre lemonade bottles last much longer than the blocks. 

This is where we got ours from, excellent service.

Yes another vote for the Igloo maxcold.

Just back from 2 weeks in France with it's performance was fantastic.

Well worth £50.

               I have got the Waeco CF-25, decided on that model for two reasons, first was that I found it very cheap on Preloved, brand new never been used, still in sealed box, second it is quite compact, I was looking at the Waeco CAB-40 but felt it was to cumbersome, as for the CF-25 I will be running it of the car or liesure battery, the fridge automaticly shuts down, to preven you getting a flat battery, which is a very handy feature, although you can get an add on device for any fridge that will prevent you getting a flatt battery, also the CF-25 works like a real fridge, unlike an absorbtion box type cooler, I am sure the work very well, the CF-25 is overkill on the chill realy, as you can set it to go as low as -18C not that I need it to go that low, +3C will be my requirement.

Its igloo maxcold for me. They work really well, like someone said freeze bottles of water they last for days.  I put some fresh chicken breast in my igloo with frozen and other fresh food items and when we arrived at the campsite two hours later they had  started to freeze.  Used mine for four nights when we got home i took the bottles of water out to find they were still partly frozen.

Well worth the money but might be a little large for some people.

an igloo on wheels is slowly coming to the top of my list of camping essentials  They are just over 50quid.

I understand the key thing with the posh coolbox is to prime it well. It is no good half filling it with food just before you leave and expecting it to stay frozen for a week.

meanwhile i make do with picking up a bag of ice with the shopping & sticking it in a good quality coolbag or a cheap ice box, which i keep in the shade.

My Igloo 70 Maxcold (cube on wheels) was great in France this summer, even felt confident to keep raw meat in it. I bought it on ebay for £39.99.

It has also been great for a beach trip and a picnic concert (the wheels were great!), and kept the wines and beers cold when we had a house party this summer too !

what size wold you say is about the same as   a  32L? dont want it too big but enough room as my normal coo it...  ta
